FINANCIAL AID:
Check out our Financial Aid Program for attendees of all ages and for teachers. Financial aid is available for those who need it. Click here for information and forms. If you are applying for financial aid, you must submit both an application to camp and a financial aid application – acceptance to camp is not dependent on financial status. Note that the deadline for accepting financial aid applications is March 1 – the application and all supporting materials must be received by that date; we are unable to accommodate late applications for financial aid.
DEADLINES AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
MARCH 1: Priority deadline for submitting applications.
MARCH 1: Deadline for submitting financial aid applications.
MARCH 15: Notification of acceptances and financial aid awards sent.
APRIL 1: Full refund of deposit for cancellations received.
MAY 1: Final payment due. No refunds after MAY 1 unless we can fill your place(s) at camp; the deposit will remain non-refundable after April 1.
FEES:
Prices include room, board and tuition for all classes. Participants under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Adults (17 and over): $1440
Youth (age 12 to 16): $1335
Children (age 4 to 11): $1180
Children under four: free
In April, all those accepted to camp will be sent an email letter (sent to the primary contact person on the application) that contains a great deal of information about camp, and a bill for the balance of the camp fees; final payment will be due May 1.

DEPOSIT:
Please include a deposit of $100 for every person on your application aged 4 or over (list the names of those under age 4
on the application, though they attend camp free of charge). You may pay your deposit in one of two ways:
By Credit Card on our secure website form: If you enter your credit card info on the form, your card will be charged only for the deposit (plus any donation you choose to give). You will have an opportunity to authorize payment of your balance by credit card at a later date. We do not retain your credit card information.
By Check: Send a check to AFSFC, P.O. Box 219, Nevada City, CA 95959. Your check must arrive within one week of your application’s submission, or the date of your application will be moved to the date your check arrives.
NOTE: Your deposit check may not be processed until April 1 but any credit card payment will be processed immediately upon submission.
PRIORITY APPLICATION DEADLINE AND ACCEPTANCE NOTICES:
The Priority Application Deadline is March 1. If the number of applicants to camp exceeds the camp’s capacity, a random drawing (lottery) will be done of all those applications received by April 1st, and a wait-list will be created for those who are not accepted immediately. Up to 6 people may apply on the same application, and they will be accepted or wait-listed together as a group.
Primary applicant will be notified of acceptance by March 15. All communications regarding camp will be via email (unless you cannot be reached by that means), so be sure to set your email account so that any messages from registrar@sierrafiddlecamp.org will not be intercepted by spam filters.
Acceptance notices will be sent by March 15.
GUARDIANS AND MINORS:
Any applicant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian designated by the parent. Minors who will have an unrelated guardian must go through the lottery with that guardian, and they should indicate the name of the guardian on the application form.
