Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center is set in an oak and pine woodland featuring granite outcroppings with sloping terrain leading to a lovely boulder-strewn creek. Trails connect the central dining hall to class areas, accommodations, and a large outdoor swimming pool.

Meals are served buffet style in the stunning dining hall and adjacent patio. Shady Creek offers wholesome and varied meals, with options that accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.

There are three separate, distinctive lodging areas. Most beds are twin size, upper and lower bunks; there are a few queen-sized beds. Shared bath facilities are adjacent to each area.

Crescent Lodge: Shady Creek’s hilltop lodge has large front and rear lawns and two types of rooms – loft rooms with valley views, and suite rooms with sinks. Rooms sleep 6-10 people.

Mountain Cabins: One-room cabins with a sliding glass door onto a deck facing pine and oak woodland. Rooms sleep 4-8 people. There are no cabins available for just 1-2 people.

Bring Tents: There will be sites for tents available throughout the Shady Creek site. Please bring your own personal or group tent! Campers will share restroom blocks located in the Mountain Cabin and Crescent Lodge areas. There will be no fee discount for tenting. Additionally, there are a limited number of spaces for small RVs / camper vans / trailers, with no hookups available. Please note that advance notification/reservation of space is required for RVs / camper vans / trailers.
